Meals on Wheels of Peters Township accepting new clients
Meals on Wheels of Peters Township continues to accept new clients throughout its entire service area.
The independent, nonprofit program delivers nutritious, freshly made meals to anyone who has difficulty shopping for food or cooking meals, regardless of income. The program primarily serves senior citizens, but also can assist others in special circumstances, such as those with a disability or illness.
The program provides meals for a modest fee throughout a wide area, including Peters Township, Canonsburg, Houston, Lawrence, Finleyville, Eighty Four and Bridgeville/South Fayette. Meals consist of a hot entrée with two sides, soup, salad and dessert, and for an additional small fee, a sandwich, juice and cookie.
