Mon Valley Railroad society to celebrate National Model Railroad Month

Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society Inc. will celebrate National Model Railroad Month with a Mountaineer Week Model Railroad Display from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday in the Shenandoah Room of West Virginia University’s Mountainlair.

The event is free, but donations will be accepted. The display is a 12-foot-by-32-foot HO scale model railroad.

Mon Valley Railroad Historical Society meets at 7 p.m. every Thursday at 128 Pleasant St., Morgantown, W.Va. For more information, visit www.MVRRC.org.
