Mon Valley YMCA begins new session of fitness classes

The Mon Valley YMCA will begin new sessions for its group fitness classes the week of Oct. 31.

Classes include:

• Balanced Body – a program of 55 weekly classes designed for all fitness levels; begins a seven-week session Monday.

• Zumba – five morning and evening classes per week; begins a seven-week session Monday.

• Boot Camp for Kids – begins Wednesday; times are 5:30 p.m. for 5- to 8-year-olds and 6:15 p.m. for 8- to 13-year-olds.

• Water exercise – includes 13 weekly classes designed to allow even participants with achy joints the freedom to receive a good workout.

• Pickle ball pickup games – 10 a.m. to noon Mondays and Thursdays; free to members, with a $5 charge for nonmembers.
