Claysville Community Center, 212 Main St., will hold Holly Days, a Christmas craft show, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 12. There will be free door prizes, a Chinese auction, a raffle for a signed Steelers football, more than 25 craft tables and a buffet lunch with homemade dishes. Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians Inc. are holding their annual Irish History writing contest. The theme is “The Role of the Irish in World War I.” Entries must be submitted by Nov. 15. Level 1 includes sixth- through eighth-graders, with a top prize of $500. Level 2 includes ninth- through 12th-graders, with a top prize of $1,000.
