Central Greene Education Association will hold a free tailgate party from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. Friday at Waynesburg Central High School. There will be face-painting, caricatures, Raider tattoos, games, raffle baskets and music.

Fall classes for the Washington Art Association will begin the week of Sept. 12, with children’s sessions taught by Karen Price from 2 to 2:30 p.m. and 4 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays; watercolors for adults with Connie Clutter, 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays; and painting classes for adults with John Luginski, 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays.
