Participants sought for career day in Greene County
Greene County Consortium of School Counselors is planning a Career Awareness Day for eighth- and 11th-graders from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m. March 17 at Jefferson-Morgan High School.
The purpose of the event is to increase students’ awareness as to the variety, scope and magnitude of the careers and occupations experienced by Greene County residents.
The consortium is hoping to have numerous professions represented. Those who are interested in sharing their career experiences with students are asked to contact Sandy Throckmorton, guidance secretary at Waynesburg Central High School, at sthrockmorton@cgsd.org or 724-852-1050.
