More than 120 agencies, businesses and organizations will be on hand from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Washington Crown Center for the 28th annual Senior Expo.

There will be free health screenings, including thermography and spinal screening, skin cancer screening, hearing testing and blood pressure screenings. Flu shots will be available, as well as farmers market nutrition vouchers.

The event is sponsored by Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging Inc., and helps address the ongoing needs that older adults have as they try to navigate federal, state and local programs and services available.

Complimentary coffee and pastries will be available during the morning hours, and WJPA’s Pete Povich will be broadcasting live. Area vocalist Bobby Shawn will perform on the stage near Macy’s at 11 a.m., and local singer Dave Townsend will perform on the Bon Ton stage from 1 to 2 p.m. Winners of numerous prize drawings will be announced at the Bon Ton stage at 2 p.m.

For more information, call the Southwestern Pennsylvania Area Agency on Aging at 724-228-7080.
