U.S. Air Force Airman Cameron M. Bruce graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Bruce, son of Frank and Shannon Bruce of Coal Center, is a 2016 graduate of California Area High School.

U.S. Air Force Airman Joel M. Hudson IV graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. Hudson, son of Joel M. Hudson of Canonsburg, graduated in 2016 from Canon-McMillan High School.
