Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. Oct. 4 at Courthouse Square, room 104. The program will be a “Digital Gallery.” Members are asked to bring four digital images on a flash drive for a critique session.
A free bus trip for World War II and Korean War veterans to visit the World War II and Korean War Veterans memorials in Washington, D.C., will be held Oct. 6. Buses will leave at 6 a.m. from departure points in Beaver, Ross Park, Greentree and Monroeville, and will return at 9 p.m. Boxed lunches, dinners and beverages will be provided. Centerville Community Yard Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 8 at Denbo Vesta 6 Volunteer Fire Department, 415 Low Hill Road. Food and drink will be available, and there will be music. Women of Southwestern Pennsylvania Inc. will host a social about Mental Health First Aid from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 20 at Valley Brook Country Club, 425 Hidden Valley Road, McMurray. Tina Zimmerman, a trainer for Mental Health First Aid, will discuss the process of becoming a mental health first aid provider. Cost is $30 for dinner.
