Chioda – Ward
Tim and Peggy Ward of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Robyn, to Clifton Chioda, son of Tony and Patti Chioda of Bethel Park.
Robyn’s grandparents are Emma Ward of Washington, the late Harold Ward and the late Albert and Dorothy Clutter.
Her fiance’s grandparents are Janet and Regis Ruppert of Brentwood, the late Warren and Roberta Weiss, Elizabeth Chioda of Scott Township and the late Anthony Chioda Sr.
The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Avella Junior/Senior High School. She is a 2008 graduate of Geneva College, Beaver Falls, with a Bachelor of Arts in communication disorders and a 2013 graduate of North Carolina Central University in Durham, N.C., where she earned a Master of Education in communication disorders. She is employed as a licensed speech-language pathologist in the Wake County Public School System in the Office of Early Learning/Prekindergarten.
The future groom is a 2003 graduate of Hopewell High School and a 2007 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He worked for nearly 10 years as an auditor, most recently for the Office of State Auditor in Raleigh, N.C., before becoming a Certified Flight Instructor for ATP Flight School in January. He is undergoing flight instruction at Raleigh-Durham International Airport to build flight hours to become an airline pilot.
A June 18 wedding is planned at Wrightsville Manor in Wilmington, N.C.
