Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a mason jar hanging flower pot workshop at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Mingo Creek County Park office. Materials will be provided, and participants are welcome to bring flowers ready to plant. An assortment of seeds also will be provided. Fee is $3. To register, call 724-228-6867.

Blacksville Cemetery Co. asks that all flowers and decorations be removed by Saturday for spring cleanup and mowing. After that date, the mowing company will remove and dispose of anything remaining that interferes with mowing.
