Earth Day roadside cleanup of Allison Hollow Road will be held from 8 to 11 a.m. April 22. Participants will meet at 7:45 a.m. at the Chartiers Township building, 2 Buccaneer Drive, Houston. Trash bags, gloves, safety vests and refreshments will be provided. Wear comfortable long-sleeve shirts, pants and closed-toe shoes. Bright colors are recommended. Genealogy Society of Southwestern Pennsylvania will present Joshua Scully at 2 p.m. Saturday at Citizens Library, Washington. Scully will discuss the boom cities in the area.

Mon Valley Coin Club will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday, at 303 Chamber Plaza in Charleroi. The program will be Lincoln cents. A 50/50 drawing will be offered, and children’s prizes will be awarded. Applications are being accepted for membership. For more information, call 724-984-6611.
