Carmichaels Area School District will hold kindergarten registration and first-grade registration for students attending the district for the first time as follows:

• April 19, 9 to 10 a.m. – for children whose last names begin with A and G;

• April 19, 10 to 11 a.m. – for children whose last names begin with B and V;

• April 19, 11 a.m. to noon – for children whose last names begin with H and E;

• April 19, noon to 1 p.m. – for children whose last names begin with D, O and J;

• April 20, 9 to 10 a.m. – for children whose last names begin with C and F;

• April 20, 10 to 11 a.m. – for children whose last names begin with L and P;

• April 20, 11 a.m. to noon – for children whose last names begin with M and N;

• April 20, noon to 1 p.m. – for children whose last names begin with T, U and I;

• April 21, 9 to 10 a.m. – for children whose last names begin with R and Q;

• April 21, 10 to 11 a.m. – for children whose last names begin with Y and Z;

• April 21, 11 a.m. to noon – for children whose last names begin with S and K;

• April 21, noon to 1 p.m. – for children whose last names begin with W & X, noon to 1 p.m.

Parents must bring a record of immunization shots, birth certificate, proof of residence and a registration packet. The school nurse, clerical staff and transportation personnel will be available to assist parents. Children registering for kindergarten must be 5 years old before Sept. 1; children registering for first grade must be 6 years old before Sept. 1. Children must accompany parents to registration. Parents who have children attending school can send a note requesting a packet, and the information will be sent home with the child.
