Cornerstone Genealogical Society of Greene County will meet at 7 p.m. today at the log cabin courthouse on Greene Street. Danielle Petrak of Morgantown’s Watts Museum will talk about the history of Greene County’s coal mines. She will also bring a traveling exhibit, “Outside the Mine: Daily Life in a Coal Camp.” The meeting is free.

Journey By Grace Church, Route 51, Belle Vernon, will present “Lead Me to the Cross – The Road to Easter” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday.

Claysville Cemetery will hold its spring clean up the week of April 17. Lot owners should remove items that they would like to keep.
