Monessen to host music, arts festival
Raise Your Voice Music and Arts Festival, a fundraiser for the Monessen Communities That Care youth council, will be held from noon to 7 p.m. April 29 at Monessen City Park.
The free event will feature vendors, artists, food and local bands from the Pittsburgh area, including Blue of Colors, God’s Green Apples and Andy Gregg.
Monessen Communities That Care is a local initiative that focuses on research-based youth delinquency prevention. It is based on a national model, whose goals are to raise protective factors and give youth the tools needed to overcome problem behaviors.
