Elecia Smith was recently selected for membership in the Phi Kappa Phi national honor society at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in psychology. Smith is a provost scholar and Dean’s Merit scholar, and she received the Dean’s Opportunity Scholarship. She is a member of Psi Chi International Honor Society in psychology, Golden Key International Honor Society, Sigma Alpha Lambda National Leadership and Honors Organization, Sigma Alpha Pi: the National Society of Leadership and Success, Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society and the McNair Scholars Program. She is a 2014 graduate of Ringgold High School, and her parents are Kristen Smith of Donora and Gary Simms of Monessen.
