U.S. Air Force Airman Brian J. Baldwin graduated with honors from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, San Antonio, Texas. Airmen who complete basic training also earn four credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force. He is a 2012 graduate of South Fayette High School, and his parents are Lisa and William Baldwin of Sturgeon and Maureen and Robert Ruyak of Scottdale.

Army Staff Sgt. Daniel Hodge has arrived for duty in Washington as a recruiter with U.S. Army Recruiting Company Pittsburgh. His wife is Cailtin M. Hodge of Washington. He earned an associate degree in 2015 from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Va.
