Washington Camera Club will meet at 7 p.m. today in Room 104, Courthouse Square. The program will be a “Print Gallery.”

Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department will hold a Mother/Son Superhero Event for children ages 4 to 8 years from 6 to 8 p.m. May 5 at the recreation center. There will be food, games, projects and more. Costumes are encouraged. Pizza and refreshments will be served. Cost is $20 per couple for members ($8 each additional child) and $30 per couple for non-members ($12 each additional child). South Hills Home Show will be held Friday through Sunday at the Iceoplex at Southpointe. There will be more than 100 exhibits, seminars, demonstrations and how-to clinics. Show hours are 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is free. For more information, visit www.SouthHillsHomeShow.com.

The Parks and Recreation Society at California University of Pennsylvania will hold its Annual Pike Run Youth Fishing Festival from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Rotary Park in California, for children ages 15 and younger. Registration is from 7 a.m. to noon. The event is free. There also will be food, music and other activities.
