Mills – Phillips
Laura Phillips and Bryan Mills were united in marriage March 11 at Hotel Monaco, Pittsburgh, with the Honorable Damon J. Faldowski, uncle of the bride, officiating the 6 p.m. ceremony.
The bride’s parents are William and Sandra Phillips of Washington.
Parents of the bridegroom are Betty Mills of Hurricane, W.Va., and the late John Mills.
The bride is a a 1997 graduate of Mount de Chantal Visitation Academy in Wheeling, W.Va., and a 2001 graduate of Georgetown University with a Bachelor of Science. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2004 from Georgetown. She is the managing partner of Phillips, Phillips & Smith-Delach P.C., a law firm in Washington and Pittsburgh.
Dr. Mills is a 1997 graduate of Teays Valley Christian School in Teays Valley, W.Va., and a 2001 graduate of Bethany College. He earned a Master of Science in computer science in 2008 from the University of Pittsburgh and a doctorate in computer science in 2014 from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a senior software engineer at Google-Pittsburgh.
The couple make their home in Lawrenceville.
A winter honeymoon to Australia and New Zealand is planned.
