Daffodil show Saturday in Pittsburgh
The 2017 Pittsburgh Daffodil Show, presented by the Daffodil & Hosta Society of Western Pennsylvania, will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Shady Side Academy Senior School ice rink, 423 Fox Chapel Road.
This year’s show is being held in conjunction with the Penn State Extension of Allegheny County’s Garden and Landscape Symposium and the Master Gardeners’ Garden Marketplace of Western Pennsylvania.
Admission to the daffodil show is free.
Show set-up begins at 4 p.m. Friday, with exhibitors able to groom, stage and enter their blooms. Flowers can be entered until 10 p.m. Anyone can enter daffodils they have grown in the open. Include the daffodils’ names, if known, and any other available information.
