Waynesburg cleanup set for May 4-6
Waynesburg Borough will hold its spring cleanup May 4-6, when residents can bring unwanted household items to the borough street department on First Street.
Residents can bring items between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. May 4 and 5 and from 7 a.m. to noon May 6.
The borough will not accept computers, televisions, microwaves, cell phones and other electronic items, paint or hazardous materials. Items with Freon must be tagged indicating the Freon has been removed.
The borough will accept tires. There will be a $2 fee for each passenger tire; $3 fee for each light truck tire; and $20 fee for each larger tire.
The borough will pick up items at residents’ homes for $25 for half a truck load and $50 for a full truck load. For pick-up, call the borough office at 724-627-8111.
