Boat cruise to benefit family hospice
Family Hospice and Palliative Care will host a Memorial Boat Cruise aboard the Gateway Clipper from 10 a.m. to noon Sept. 23.
Boarding begins at 9:30 a.m., and the boat will leave at 10. Registration is $50 per adult and $30 for each child 4 to 12 years old. Children 3 and younger are free.
The event will include a full breakfast and an activity area where kids can make a craft. In addition, everyone will get a flower in memory of their loved one and have the opportunity to submit a photo of their loved one that will run on the boat’s television screens.
Proceeds from the Memorial Boat Cruise will benefit the 2,700 patients and their families who annually receive end-of-life and bereavement services. To register, visit www.FamilyHospicePA.org.
