Greene Co. seeking school supplies
Greene County United Way’s 15th annual Stuff the Bus will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, at Lions Club Park, JC Pavilion.
Donations of school supplies for children in Greene County will be accepted until Aug. 14 and include pens, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, book covers, notebooks, folders, lunch boxes, binders and scissors. Backpacks also are needed, and monetary donations are appreciated.
Drop-off sites include Autumn Woods Hair Care Studio; Baily Insurance, Community Action Southwest – Waynesburg office and senior centers; Contura Energy; Cornerstone Care in Mt. Morris, Waynesburg, Central Greene Peds and Greensboro; County of Greene; Domestic Violence Services; Eva K. Bowlby Library; First Baptist Church in Waynesburg; First Federal Savings and Loan, Waynesburg office;
Also, First National Bank in Waynesburg and Dry Tavern; First Presbyterian Church; Flenniken Library; Greene Arc; Greene County Chamber of Commerce; Rotary Club of Waynesburg; St. Paul Lutheran Church in Carmichaels; Washington Health Systems Greene; Waynesburg University; and West Penn Power in Jefferson.
