Washington Corps of the Salvation Army, 60 E. Maiden St., will hold its monthly rummage sale Tuesday. Doors open at 9 a.m., with a bag sale beginning at noon.
Uniform, Shoe and Accessory Sale, sponsored by the Washington Hospital Auxiliary, will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 10 and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 11 in the Community Room at Washington Hospital. Credit cards, cash and checks will be accepted. Payroll deduction is available for employees of Washington Hospital.

Masquerade Jewelry Sale will begin at 7 a.m. Aug. 10 and 11 in the Education Conference Center at Monongahela Valley Hospital. The $5 jewelry sale, sponsored by the Auxiliary of Mon-Vale Health Resources Inc., will include earrings, chains and bracelets.
Hiller Volunteer Fire Department will hold its annual hog roast from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. Aug. 12. A parade will begin at 3 p.m. The musical lineup will feature Shannon and the Merger and Birmingham. There also will be a flea market and craft vendors. To set up, call 724-984-2349.
Spaghetti dinner to help Nick Bell, a music teacher/musical director at Geibel Catholic High School, with medical and rehabilitation costs will be held from 3 to 8 p.m. Aug. 12 at the high school cafeteria, 611 E. Crawford Ave., Connellsville. The full-course meal, including a gluten-free option, is $8 per person. Caterer is Lid’L Licious Catering LLC of Connellsville.
