Shrontz – 50 years
Bill and Sandy Shrontz of Wolfdale will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary with a small family dinner and a trip to Amish country in Berlin, Ohio.
Mr. and Mrs. Shrontz were married August 5, 1967, in West Washington Presbyterian Church.
Their children are Chris (Jodie Hinerman) Shrontz and Candy (Dennis) Martin, all of Washington.
Their grandchildren are Jordan, Tanner and Turner Shrontz, Dawson Martin and the late Maddie Martin.
Mr. Shrontz retired from Hankison Corp. after 40 years of service and now works for GG&C Bus Co. as a driver for Trinity School District. For many years he coached basketball in the Wolfdale area, Canton Township softball and Washington Youth Baseball. Mr. Shrontz is an avid golfer.
Mrs. Shrontz is retired from Danny’s Restaurant and Catering and worked for many years at Saturday’s Child day care in Wolfdale. She has been a caretaker for many friends and family over the years, and remains involved with local charities and fundraisers for those in need.
Mr. and Mrs. Shrontz are members of North Buffalo Presbyterian Church. They enjoy spending time with their grandchildren, especially cheering them on at baseball and softball games.
