Giacometti – 60 years

Robert D. and Carole J. Giacometti of Washington celebrated their 60th wedding anniversery with a dinner with family and friends at Legacy Tavern. They also celebrated Mrs. Giacometti’s 80th birthday at the dinner.

Mr. and Mrs. Giacometti were married July 12, 1957, in Winchester, Va.

Their son is Robert J. Giacometti (Tammie S.) of Washington. Their grandchildren are Tiffany Yurinko and Joshua Giacometti. They also have three great-grandchildren.

Mr. Giacometti is a retired diesel mechanic at GG&C Bus Co. He is a charter member of South Strabane Fire Station No. 2, with 50 years of service.

Mrs. Giacometti is a retired physical therapy aide at the Washington County Health Center.
