A cookout fundraiser for Laboratory Presbyterian Church will be held from 3 p.m to 7 Sunday in the church fellowship hall, 23 Manse St. Cost is $8 for adults, $4 for children ages 3 to 10 and children 2 and younger are free. Lungs at Work, a nonprofit black lung clinic, assists coal miners with black lung claims and provides medical and legal representation to miners. The group will hold an outreach event from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at the office of state Rep. Bud Cook, R-49th District, 55 Gosai Drive, Bentleyville.
