PA Preferred Chocolate Brownie Spectacular

• Ingredients

For brownies

1 cup butter or margarine, melted

2 cups white sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 fresh eggs

1/2 cup Hershey’s unsweetened cocoa

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup Hershey’s chocolate chips

For carmel sauce

1 bag carmels

1/4 cup butter

1 teaspoon milk

For topping

1/2 cup Hershey’s chocolate chips

1 cup Herr’s pretzels

To make the brownies: In a bowl, mix together the butter and sugar. Add the vanilla extract and eggs; mix together. Add in the cocoa and flour. Mix together lightly.

Add chips, fold into batter. Two 8-inch-by-8-inch baking pans work well for baking brownies. Pour batter into oiled baking pans. Bake at 355 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool.

To make the carmel sauce: Melt carmels, butter and milk in microwave. Pour over brownies.

Top with toppings.
