The Burgettstown Chorus Department announces two upcoming concerts. For the first time, the Burgettstown Senior High Chorus will perform with the Washington Symphony Orchestra at Trinity High School today and Sunday for the “Ho Ho Ho with the WSO” concert. Tickets can purchased at www.washsym.org or at the door. The second performance will take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Burgettstown Peforming Arts Center. The chorus will perform in the first side-by-side concert with the 90-member California University of Pennsylvania Choir. Dr. Yugo Ikach, assistant professor of music, will direct the Senior High Chorus and the California Choir in selections by Anderson, Rutter, Courtney and Handel to name a few. The finale will consist of 250 voices from grade 6 through college age. The concert will take place in the Burgettstown Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $3 for adults and $2 for students.
