A jewelry sale will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday in the community room at Washington Hospital. There will be gold, silver, watches and fragances. The event is sponsored by the Washington Hospital Auxiliary. Cash and credit cards will be accepted, and payroll deduction will be available for Washington Health System employees.
Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will offer a needle and yarn craft workshop at 10 a.m. Feb. 15 at the Mingo Creek County Park office. The craft will be a no-sew sock snowman. Participants should bring one white sock and one colored sock. There also will be time to work on personal crafts and a show and tell. Refreshments and a snack will be provided. Fee is $2. A food bank sponsored by St. Vincent DePaul will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 15 at First United Methodist Church, 215 Church St., Brownsville. New clients are being accepted.
