School registration
Canon-McMillan School District will hold online kindergarten registration for the 2017-18 school year March 1-31. Parents or guardians are asked to contact their child’s school to request a secure ID code to access registration information. Those who do not have a computer are asked to contact their child’s school for assistance. Kindergarten screenings will be held May 19.
Open Door Nursery of First United Presbyterian Church of Houston, 102 N. Main St., is accepting applications for the 2017-18 school year. Preschool classes are offered for 3-, 4- and 5-year-olds.
