Shirley – Cross
Justin and Erin Darr of Washington announce the engagement of their daughter, Brittany Anne Cross, to Brenten Thomas Shirley, son of Dennis and Katrina Shirley of Wesley Chapel, Fla.
Brittany’s grandparents are Raymond and Carole McMullen of Bensalem.
Her fiance’s grandparents are Frank and Linda Amos of Clearwater, Fla., Darwin and Beverly Giles of Weeki Wachee, Fla., and the late Ernest Shirley.
The bride-to-be is a 2012 graduate of Trinity High School and a 2015 graduate of Pittsburgh Technical College, where she received her certificate in practical nursing. She works as a licensed practical nurse at Broadmore Senior Living in Bridgeville.
The future groom is a 2011 graduate of Wesley Chapel High School in Wesley Chapel. He is employed by Laborers’ International Union 1058 in Pittsburgh.
A September 8 wedding is planned at the George Washington Hotel in Washington.
