Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program will offer free tax assistance from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. weekdays, Feb. 1 to April 13, at the Bible Chapel, Gallery Drive, McMurray.

Those seeking assistance must bring the following: last year’s tax return, identification for yourself and your spouse, Social Security numbers and birth dates for yourself, spouse and dependents; all W-2 and 1099 tax documents (including Social Security 1099); 1095 health care statements; and property tax receipts.

Federal, state and local taxes and real estate/rent rebate applications will be prepared. Both spouses are required to sign joint returns.
