Caitlin Brooks, daughter of Carl and Valerie Brooks of Waynesburg, was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average at Waynesburg University, where she is majoring in mathematics. She is a member of the indoor and outdoor women’s track team and fellowship of Christian Athletes. Brooks is a 2015 graduate of Waynesburg Central High School and is employed as a lab assistant at the university.
Shannon Crumrine, daughter of Roy and Sandy Crumrine of East Washington, was named to the president’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average at West Virginia University, where she is majoring in elementary education. She is a 2014 graduate of Washington High School.
Robert Hugus of Washington has graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in management. He also earned a minor in communication studies, and was named to the dean’s list with a 3.6 grade-point average. Hugus is a 1991 graduate of Washington High School, and his parents are Jim and Dolores Hugus of Washington.
Brayden Lloyd, son of Bob Jr. and Heather Lloyd of Washington, was named to the dean’s list with a 3.8 grade-point average at Slippery Rock University, where he is majoring in computer science. He is a member of the drum line and a 2016 graduate of Trinity High School.
Brooke Scarfo, daughter of Rob and Shannon Scarfo of Washington, was named to the dean’s list with a 3.62 grade-point average at Eberly College of Business and Information Technology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in accounting. She is a 2016 graduate of Trinity High School.
Becca Turney, daughter of Bill and Lori Turney of North Strabane, was named to the dean’s list at Eastern Michigan University, where she is majoring in nursing. She was a Division I women’s basketball recruit and a 2016 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
