Peters Township library program designed to help job seekers

Peters Township Public Library will host a five-part series designed to help job seekers with résumé creation, interview skills and more from 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays, Feb. 20 through March 20.

The series will be based on “It’s Your Job: Tips on Résumé Writing, Interviewing, and Selling You” by Lisa Raymond and will include:

• Creating a résumé, cover letter and reference page;

• What to do prior to, during and after the interview;

• Learning the necessary language for the interview and to skillfully sell yourself.

Raymond has over 20 years of experience in human resources and has been a business owner since 1998. She teaches public speaking and persuasion and professional communications at Robert Morris University.

Cost is $50 and includes a copy of Raymond’s book. Registration is required by Feb. 17 by visiting the circulation desk. For more information, call the library at 724-941-9430.
