New Freeport fire hall will hold a country music show from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Sandy Huffman will perform from 7 to 8:30, and Larry Santee with Walker Anderson will perform from 8:30 to 10. Admission is $5. The show is sponsored by New Freeport Ladies Auxiliary.
Amwell Township Historical Society will meet at 6 p.m. Monday at the Amwell Township Community Park for a picnic. Meat, rolls, drinks and paper products will be provided. Family members and friends are invited. Deborah Davis will present a brief program on the Century Inn.

Pennsylvania Trolley Museum, Washington, will offer a special behind-the-scenes tour from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 9. All buildings at the East and West campuses will be shown. The Greater Canonsburg and McMurray Lions clubs will hold a Night At the Races Sept. 30 at the White Eagles Club, 303 Adams Ave., Canonsburg.
