Mary Fritz, daughter of Carl and Tracie Fritz of Washington, was named to the dean’s list at California University of Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in criminal justice. Fritz is a 2016 graduate of Trinity High School.

Travis Gump, son of Mark and Nancy Gump of New Freeport, graduated from Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science in communications and information systems. He is a 2013 graduate of West Greene High School.

Katelyn Sarver was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average for the second consecutive semester at West Virginia University, where she is majoring in biology. She is a 2016 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School, and her parents are David and Lisa Sarver of Canonsburg.

Brittany Rees of McDonald, a student at Lebanon Valley College, was named to the Middle Atlantic Conference’s Winter/Spring Academic Honor Roll. Rees is pursuing a doctor of physicl therapy. She is a graduate of South Fayette High School.

Anthony Sivie, son of Paul and Eileen Sivie of Washington, was named to the dean’s list at Thiel College, where he is majoring in public relations, advertising and integrated marketing communication. Sivie is a three-year starter as a defenseman on Thiel’s lacrosse team, and received defenseman honorable mention on the ORLC Lacrosse Conference All-Star team as a freshman. Sivie is employed by PulseNET.

Justine Yanosik, daughter of Amy Yanosik of Midway, was named to the dean’s list with a 4.0 grade-point average at Slippery Rock University, where she is majoring in math education. She is a 2016 graduate of Fort Cherry High School.
