Perchinsky – 65 years
Steve and Millie Perchinsky of Bentleyville celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with Mass at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, formerly Ava Maria, with family and friends.
A dinner followed at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Terrie of Eighty Four. Their son, Ronald, provided music for their 75 guests.
Mr. and Mrs. Perchinsky were married on May 25, 1952, at St. Hilary Parish in Washington.
They have five children, Stephen (Terrie), Ronald (Cheryl), Cindy Sarbak (Matthew), Judy Lowman (Alan) and Linda Stumpf.
They have 12 grandchildren, Shannon, Lauren, Jennifer, Jamie, Michael, Ronnie, Troy, Cory, Colton, Andrew, Nicole and Katie Grace. They also have five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Perchinsky served in the Navy, then worked in construction in New York for 11 years. He also worked as a meat cutter for Kroger before joining Beth Energy as a mine examiner, retiring in 1992.
Mrs. Perchinsky worked for Troutman’s Department Store, which later became the Bon Ton, where she did advertising and printed all sale signs. She then graduated from Waynesburg Practical Nursing School, and worked for St. Clair Hospital for 14 years before retiring.
