The 9th annual Whiskey Rebellion Dinner, a fundraiser for the Bradford House, will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Hilton Garden Inn Southpointe. The event celebrates the evolution of whiskey through American history, educating attendees through an experiential sit-down dinner. Alexander Hamilton will make a special appearance as the event’s guest speaker. Tickets are $155 per plate. A free community spaghetti dinner will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday in the social hall at First United Methodist Church of Canonsburg, 161 West Pike Street. Takeout will be available until 5:30. For more information, call 724-745-5771
Bush, Gator, Tony and Susan return to Harmony House Cafe, 47 N. Main Street, Washington, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday, playing classic rock. Harmony House is an outreach of New Hope Presbyterian Church ECO.
The six churches of the Greater Purpose Team Ministry will meet for their annual picnic at 10 a.m. Sunday at Ten Mile Park in Millsboro. Meat, rolls, beverages and place settings will be provided. Worship will begin at 11 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Bring a covered dish.
