Nackoul – 100 years

Lena Nackoul of Canonsburg celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends at a luncheon Sunday, July 2, at Bella Sera, Canonsburg.

Mrs. Nackoul was born June 29, 1917, in Muse, where she lived until she married. Her husband is the late Albert Nackoul.

She has two daughters, Linda (Robert) Knight of Houston and Marta (the late Stanley) Odoski of West Elizabeth.

Her grandchildren are Phillip Knight of Heidelberg, Clayton of Phoenix, Ariz., and Kristy Knight of Houston. She also has 10 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Nackoul was employed by Tomsic Motor Co. and the Canon-McMillan School District, from where she retired. She also prepared income taxes for many people over the years.

She is a member of St. Patrick Church, Canonsburg. She enjoys growing flowers, reading and crocheting.
