Woodville Plantation, Collier Township, presents Eastern Woodland Native American Culture Immersion Day from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Enjoy presentations about Eastern Woodland life by Ghost in the Head throughout the day. Take a docent-led tour of the house to learn about the eras that followed Eastern Woodland life. West Newton Center for Active Adults will hold lunch and a show Tuesday. The show will be a tribute to Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton. Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a butterfly walk Aug. 5,in Mingo Creek County Park. Monica Miller will lead a walk beginning at 1 p.m. The group will meet in the parking lot between shelters 1 and 2. Reservations are required; call 724-228-6867. A limited number of butterlfy nets and collecting jars will be provided. Participants should dress for light hiking and bring a bottle of water. There is no fee.
