The ninth annual Ducky Race sponsored by the Brownsville Revitalization Corp. will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, at Brownsville Riverside Wharf, off Water Street.

Chase & Marshall from Paw Patrol will be at the Cast Iron Amphitheater in Snowden Square at 11 a.m., where ducks will be sold for $5 each.

Ducks will be dropped from the Inter-County Bridge at 1 p.m., with the first one to cross the finish line collecting the grand prize. Six prizes will be awarded to the owners of the winning ducks.

The event is one of the largest fundraisers for BARC, a private nonprofit organization established in 1989. To adopt a duck in advance, call Shauna at BARC at 724-785-9331.
