Car cruise set in Mt. Pleasant

Mt. Pleasant Cruise Night will be held Aug. 28 at Frick Park in Mt. Pleasant.

Gates open to drivers at 6 p.m., with admission by donation. Dash plaques will be distributed to the first 200 drivers. Gates will open to the publlic at 7, with a $2 donation. Children 12 and younger will be admitted free.

Live entertainment will be provided, and there will be food and beverages. Prizes will be awarded, and there will be a 50/50 drawing.

Rain date is Aug. 25.

Proceeds will benefit the Mt. Pleasant Glass & Ethnic Festival Committee’s festival in September.
