Washington Lions Club awards scholarships
Washington Lions Club presented scholarships valued at $1,000 each to the following students:
• Tori Danna, a graduate of McGuffey High School, is a daughter of John and Sandy Danna of West Alexander. She will be attending Slippery Rock University to major in early childhood/special education.
• Kaci Hott, a graduate of Trinity High School, received the William & Joann Moore Scholarship. She is a daughter of Jim and Robin Hott of Washington and will be attending Penn State to major in chemical engineering.
• Nathan Shallcross, a graduate of Washington High School, is a son of Amy and Bryan Shallcross. He will be attending Youngstown State to major in exercise science.
