Bellmead’s summer kickoff vendor and craft show will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday in the dining room and courtyard gardens of Bellmead Apartments, 815 S. Main St., Washington. There will be a hot dog lunch and petting zoo. Vendors include Nanny’s Candies, Premium Jewelry Designs, Tastefully Simple, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Crafty Sisters, Magnabilities and Aunt Kimmie’s Homemade Jams and Jellies. California Area Historical Society will present “Toys from the Past” at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Gallagher House, Fifth and Wood streets, California. Dean Helfer Jr., president and founder of Channel Craft, will share some American nostalgia and show examples of toys, games and puzzles handcrafted in Charleroi. Parking will be available in the Presbyterian church lot. Refreshments will be served.

An electronics show sponsored by Washington Hospital Auxiliary will be held from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday and Tuesday in the Community Room at Washington Hospital. Items include computers, gaming consoles, TVs, cameras tablets, Michael Kors and Fossil watches and more. Payment by payroll deduction, cash or credit cards.

Washington County Department of Parks and Recreation will hold a needle and yarn craft workshop at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Shelter 4 in Mingo Creek County Park. The project will be yarn orbs. Supplies will be provided. There will also be a cookout. Participants are asked to bring their favorite covered dish and the recipe. Hot dogs and refreshments will be provided. The fee is $2. Registration is required and can be made by calling 724-228-6867.
