MVH to hold program on thyroid disease
Monongahela Valley Hospital will offer a free presentation on thyroid disease at 6 p.m. June 20 in the Anthony M. Lombardi Education Conference Center. Endocrinologist Alexander Tal, M.D., will speak.
Are you tired or cold all the time? Could you have hypothyroid disease? What is hypothyroid? Dr. Tal will answer those questions in addition to discussing the symptoms and treatment of thyroid disease. The program includes light refreshments. Parking is free. To register, call 724-258-1333.
The program is part of the Innovations in Medicine lecture series, which is designed to enhance the health of the residents of the mid-Monongahela Valley.
