Flashlight Drags event set for today at the Greene County Airport has been canceled because of construction at the airport. The next race will be held July 23.

First Church of God of West Newton will hold a barbecue fundraiser July 1, beginning at 10 a.m., at Ace Williams Hardware, Route 136, West Newton. Food will be prepared by Comin’ in Hot Barbeque.
