Three Carmichaels Area Senior High School graduates have received scholarships.

Mollie Ehrlichman and Noah Kaczmarczyk were each awarded a $5,000 scholarship from the Paul and Dolores Jazwa Lavins Scholarship Fund. Ehrlichman, daughter of Lisa Grim of Carmichaels, plans to major in psychology and musical theater at California University of Pennsylvania. Kaczmarczyk, son of Dawn Krause of Crucible and Eric Kaczmarczyk of Carmichaels, plans to major in industrial engineering at West Virginia University. Each year, the fund awards two $5,000 scholarships, renewable each year for four years, to two Carmichaels’ seniors.

Joel Spishock received the Michael E. Holupka Jr. and Kathleen Marinoff Gift Fund, which awards a $1,000 scholarship each year for no longer than five years to a deserving Carmichaels’ senior. Spishock, son of Thomas and Frances Spishock of Carmichaels, plans to major in mechanical engineering at Potomac State College.
