Fourth of July weekend events
East Finley Township Park, 700 Templeton Run Road, will host its 41st annual Summer Festival and Independence Day celebration Saturday. Events begin at 11 a.m. and conclude with fireworks.
Along with live music, there will be food, cornhole tournament, rubber duck race and games and activities for the children adults. Country music band Black Horse will play two shows, with the first beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Fredericktown Area Chamber of Commerce will host its 12th annual Riverfest Saturday. Events begin at 2 p.m. along the river and will conclude with fireworks.
There will be food and craft vendors, barnyard petting zoo and pony rides from 5 to 8 p.m. Rock band Salem Union will perform from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m., sponsored by Northwest Savings Bank. Fireworks are at 9:30 p.m.
