West Newton Library, 124 N. Water St., will hold a fundraiser from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at 109 S. Second St. Gary’s Chuck Wagon will serve stuffed pork chops, potatoes, green beans, coleslaw, rolls, beverage and dessert. Cost is $12. Family Bingo Night, a fundraiser for wounded veterans sponsored by Peters Township High School Interact Club, will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in the high school cafeteria. The concession stand will be open. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Additional cards are $2. All proceeds will be donated to Warfighter Sports, which helps wounded veterans.
Peters Township Parks and Recreation Department will offer the following classes in March and April: HappyFeet “Story Time with a Soccer Ball,” 6 to 6:30 p.m. Mondays for 2- to 3-year-olds and 6:30 to 7 p.m. Mondays for 3- to 5-year-olds; Nzone Sports – Kickball, 9:30 to 10 a.m. Saturdays, March 25-May 1 for 2- to 3-year-olds and 10:05 to 10:35 a.m. for 4- to 6-year-olds; and Back to Basics Keep Fit for Life, 10 to 11 a.m. Mondays, ages 18 and over.
